RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM
The Inn of Windsor is a 12 bed community based, 24 hour residential treatment Residential Program designed to meet the needs of females 13 - 18 years who are experiencing behavioural, emotional, family or social problems.
OUR PURPOSE
• Young women age 13-18 years of age who are experiencing behavioral, emotional, family or social problems.
• Those who are homeless and/or at risk
• Those open to counseling and to change
• To provide supervision of a professionally trained staff of BSW and CYW’s.
WHO WE CAN HELP
- Females 13 - 18 years whose needs cannot be met living at home or in the community.
- Those open to counselling and to change.
- Families in crisis, conflict or stressed beyond their limit.
REFERRALS
- Windsor and Essex County. Appropriate referrals from other areas will be considered.
- Referral can be made by a social agency, professionals, parents, police, the courts, schools, doctors, clergy, a friend or the girl in need.
- Emergency referrals are accepted when a bed is available.
Funding
The Inn of Windsor is licensed and funded for twelve beds in the Residential Program and 15 beds in the SALT PROGRAM under the Child and Family Services Act of the Province of Ontario, and is supervised by the Ministry of Community and Social Services.
